Abstract

meliputi peralatan bermain, keyboard ATM, meja kantor, keyboard komputer, escalator
Fakultas Ilmu Komputer UMI agar selalu mempertahatikan kebersihan tangan sebelum
dan setelah menggunakan komputer di laboratorium.

ABSTRACK
The use of computers around the world has increased from time to time. There are
nearly one billion computers in use in the world. About 75% of jobs in the world depend
on computers and 50% of homes have at least one computer. Most people don't realize
that microbes are found on common objects outdoors, in offices, and even in one's own
home. These objects include playing equipment, ATM keyboards, office desks, computer
keyboards, escalators and elevator buttons. observational research design with a
descriptive approach. the presence of bacteria on the keyboard at the Computer Science
Faculty Laboratory of UMI showed results that did not meet the requirements because
they exceeded the required limit <10 CFU/cm2. Identification of bacteria on the
keyboard at three UMI Computer Science faculty laboratories showed results that did
not meet the requirements because all laboratories identified the type of bacteria
Bacillus sp. It is hoped that UMI Computer Science Faculty students will always pay
attention to hand hygiene before and after using computers in the laboratory.
