PERAWATAN TALI PUSAT TERBUKA DALAM UPAYA MEMPERCEPAT PELEPASAN TALI PUSAT PADA BAYI BARU LAHIR

Abstract

ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang: Perawatan Tali Pusat adalah tindakan perawatan yang bertujuan untuk merawat tali pusat pada bayi baru
lahir agar tetap kering dan mencegah terjadinya infeksi. Perawatan tali pusat sangat penting diketahui oleh ibu terutama oleh
ibu melahirkan (post partum) agar ibu dapat memberikan perawatan yang maksimal pada bayi sehingga bayi dapat tumbuh
dengan baik dan sehat, tidak terinfeksi melalui tali pusatnya. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencegah terjadinya
infeksi dan mempercepat putusnya tali pusat Metode : metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah study literature
review (SLR) dengan menggunakan sumber literature yang berbentuk buku, artikel ilmiah, khususnya yang terpublikasi.
Dengan melakukan pencarian melalui database google scholar, Microsoft academy, dan world wide journals dari tahun
2016-2020. Hasil Penelitian : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan lama waktu pelepasan tali pusat setelah
diberikan intervensi perawatan tali pusat dengan metode tertutup dan terbuka. Kesimpulan : Tali pusat terbuka sangat efektif
mempercepat pelepasan tali pusat pada bayi baru lahir.

ABSTRACT
Background : Umbilical cord care is a treatment procedure that aims to treat the umbilical cord in newborns to keep it dry
and prevent infection. It is very important for mothers to know about umbilical cord care, especially by giving birth (post
partum) so that the mother can provide maximum care for the baby so that the baby can grow well and be healthy, not
infected through the umbilical cord. Purpose :This study aims to prevent infection and accelerate the breakdown of the
umbilical cord. Method : the method used in this research is study literature review (SLR) by using literature sources in the
form of books, scientific articles, especially published ones. By searching through the google scholar database, Microsoft
academy, and world wide journals from 2016-2020. Results : The results showed that there was a difference in the length of
time to release the umbilical cord after being given the umbilical cord care intervention using closed and open methods.
Conclusion : Open umbilical cord care is effective in accelerating the release of the umbilical corn in newborns.
