PENERAPAN PEMBERIAN TERAPI POSISI SEMI FOWLER UNTUK MENGURANGI SESAK NAFAS PADA KLIEN ASMA DI PUSKESMAS MAKRAYU TAHUN 2022

Abstract

ABSTRAK
Latar belakang: Asma merupakan kelainan berupa inflamasi kronik saluran
nafas yang menyebabkan hiperaktivitas bronkus terhadap berbagai
rangsangan yang dapat menimbulkan gejala seperti mengi,batuk,sesak nafas
dan dada terasa berat. Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
memperoleh gambaran secara nyata penerapan terapi posisi semi fowler
untuk mengurangi sesak nafas pada klien asma. Metode Penelitian: Metode
penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk mengeksplorasi terapi
posisi semi fowler pada klien yang mengalami sesak. Hasil Penelitian:
Penelitian ini menunjukkan setelah diberikan penerapan terapi posisi semi
fowler selama 3 hari terjadi penurunan sesak pada kedua klien. Kesimpulan:
Terapi relaksasi posisi semi fowler ini berpengaruh terhadap penurunan
sesak pada klien asma dan terapi ini dapat dilakukan secara mandiri.

ABSTRACT
Background: Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways that
causes bronchial hyperactivity to various stimuli that can cause symptoms
such as wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath and chest tightness.
Research Objectives: This study aims to obtain a real picture of the
application of semi-Fowler's position therapy to reduce shortness of breath
in asthmatic clients. Research Methods: This research method uses
descriptive methods to explore semi-Fowler's position therapy in clients who
experience shortness of breath. Results: This study showed that after being
given the application of semi-Fowler's position therapy for 3 days there was
a decrease in shortness of breath in both clients. Conclusion: Relaxation
therapy in the semi-Fowler's position has an effect on reducing shortness of
breath in asthmatic clients and this therapy can be done independently.
